They should put Charles Osgood on during the Monday through Friday morning show .

I don't recall that experiment. Or its failure.
But I agree he'd be better than what they've got now. In fact, Sunday Morning is about the only morning show worth watching, with GMA a distant second.

it was back in the days of Captain Kangaroo - Charles Kuralt was on a sunday-friday schedule.
personally, I'd like to see Captain Kangaroo come back - I think we could win most time slots again.

I know this is never gonna happen...but the morning shows could learn a thing or two from Sunday Morning. I agree...it's one of the best shows on television today.

Shhhh! Don't tell Moonves, McManus and the other moron suits at CBS about this show. If they find out about it, they'll screw it up too!

Charles Kuralt's style was fine for a Sunday morning show but way too laid-back for weekdays.
I still say his best work was his "On the Road" reports.
