Another longtime WSOC anchor retires. I've watched him for many years. And true to form... his "goodbye" was one of the most unique departues I have seen. Somewhat of surprise to many.

I had the pleasure of working with Harold for 6 years. And it was a pleasure. I have vague memories of temper tantrums and such... but many many more clear memories of a genuinely fun and humble guy.

Big Guy, you will be missed.

(Thanks for posting the video, I enjoyed seeing Vince, Kim, Steve and Debi again)

Interesting the only quote from a co-anchor who says "It has been interesting working with Harold, to say the least," replied Debi Faubion, who came to WSOC 16 years ago.
Not the glowing endorsement of a great co-worker.
