if you are a producer who likes doing TV, who doesn't want to be a reporter, and is looking to move from a small market into a middle market send me a message. i can answer all the details in private. Honestly we need people pretty bad, so i'm calling all producers to see if anyone wants a first and/or new job.

Wow, is it really this hard to find producers these days?

I believe it is that hard to find GOOD producers who don't want to leapfrog the mid markets and go right from 150+ to top 20.

Such producers can be rare. Fortunately, my station's got some of the good ones... So don't come calling here, WP!

You can't pay me enough to stay in the business. But if you think you can, by all means, make an offer. It's been one of those days.

Its not just producers, we have three openings right now for shooters and have zero aps for them. Maybe the tide is turning at the J schools! They are getting the messege the working in teevee does not pay enough to live on nowadays!

Why would anyone want the abuse without the ego-boosting payoff of being on air?
