I'm looking for an agent, particularly to help find a job in a top 40 market on the West Coast. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have a recommendation:

Don't Hire an Agent.

Instead, work with someone who has years of on-air experience, contacts in markets all over the country and the legal knowledge to negotiate your best possible contract -- and who's willing to provide those services to you for a fraction of what an agent would charge.

it's worth considering.

it's worth considering.Sounds like you're an agent... just on the cheaper. Kind of like a VJ taking the job of a photog and a reporter and giving a station 'twice the work for half the price'.

We here at medialine look forward to making fun of your spamming of our beloved board.

Don't hire an agent. In fact, don't hire anyone. Do it yourself. You'd be surprised how many people do, and do well.

it's worth considering.According to your website, you don't help people find jobs, you just negotiate the contract. Is that correct?
