Any thoughts on KVAL-TV in Eugene, Oregon...The good, the bad, the ugly?

Judging from the website and ads I think you can do better for a next job.

Nice place to live, can get a little sleepy at times. Definite college town, University of Oregon.

A lot of people go from Eugene to Portland, howver I would not work for Fisher. The ownership group is struggling big time financially, part of the reason is they have to pay off the "Fisher Palace" in Seattle. That's the new building for KOMO-TV.

(mark the voice from adrienne's log in)Eugene rocks. As good of a market as exists in Oregon besides Portland. Great town. "Animal House" filmed there in the late 70's at the U of O--not a plus or minus but a nice piece of trivia to know if you go there.
Pacific northwest is one of the most stunning areas of the country. A kind of "who cares who's good or bad?" market because you're probably not going to stay there for a long time. But then again, what the hell do I know? Never mind.
