I worked in GJ 10 years ago, so I'm not up to date on the stations or the KKCO ND, but I can tell you that Grand Junction is small and kind of rural, of course, but it's a gorgeous area and there's lots of outdoor things (hiking, trail running, skiing, camping) to do. Denver is the closest big city, and it's a four hour drive away. I do know that a lot of people who started in Grand Junction went on to have long, successful careers.
