Don't worry...Nielson will go all metered markets in a few years and all sweeps will be a thing for the history books.

But then how will I know what's in my kitchen that will kill me? What's crawling in my hotel room? How will I know how to keep my family safe?

Sweeps months establish (via people meters or diaries) WHO is watching at any given time.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you want Thanksgiving off, you'll have to leave tv... or come work for a network.

My worst nightmare is someone stealing my "east coast producer" name while it was on halloween vacation!!!!

I know, ECP -- was trying to nod to that with the "ec p" (obviously without success!).
And your experience is why I'm not changing my name for the holidays.

You guys think metered markets are bad, try Nielsen's lovely "people meters" on for size. It's sweeps year round with those darn things.
